What is BEAUTY?
- To Man's eyes, Woman
- For a climber, rock and sculped cliffs
- For an alpinist, "THE" summit
- For everybody, blinking flowers in mountain pastures, or the quietly planning Lammergeier
Beauty of creatures tells us kindness of Lord.

Picture betrays the bird of prey: we need the move to fly with it
- Pretty flowers grow everywhere on the Net
- Rocks, mountains and summits also
- When it comes to sexy girls, they invade the Internet: Nude women pop on your screen, when you're looking for a carabiner!
But the pretty girl climbing a rock, Google does not find her easily. That's why I made this page, with cute female climbers

Why are these photos beautiful?
The girls are gorgeous, but there is more here.
I suppose that contrast creates beauty.

- Soft, gracious, round, fragile and sensible is the woman
- Hard, rigid, angulous, solid and inert is the rock
One worries about harsh rock scratching tender skin
I guess there stands beauty: contrast & emotion. Do you agree?

Most pictures on display here have been scanned from French review, "Alpinisme & Randonnée" (AR). Sadly, AR fell in a crack, then was crunched by the liberal glacier. Some photos come from books (Lynn Hill, Guérin; Philippe Royer's photos, Solar). -3- Why are recent climbers absent from these pictures? I think that, because climbers top-level is rising, today-girls must have a very high strength/body weight ratio. Hence they are skinny! And to my eyese, less pretty than 80' and 90's climbing women
